Important: Buy the exact refrigerant named for the equipment. Two systems that look similar can still be engineered for different refrigerants.
02 Can R32 or R454B replace R410A in an existing system?

No direct swap should be assumed. R410A, R32 and R454B have different operating properties, safety classifications and equipment requirements.

R32 and R454B are A2L refrigerants. Systems approved for A2L service can include design and safety provisions that older R410A equipment may not have.
